Apply the sweet tasting, pure honey on your lips 3 times a day, especially before bedtime. Honey not only heals dry cracked lips but also restore their natural moisture. Try this remedy for several days to get soft smooth lips. When a few drops are added to a teaspoon of honey and applied to the lips before bedtime, it can fix the problem of dryness.

2 . Aloe Vera

Although its odor and taste are unpleasant, there is no doubt about the healing properties of aloe vera. The advantage of this plant is that it can be grown in your back yard. When the need arises, it will be easy enough to simply pluck a leaf and lather the lips with the juice.

3 . Rose Petals

If there is no aloe vera plant available, rose petal extract is a great alternative for relief of chapped lips. This extract mixed with raw milk can serve as a moisturizing agent. The recommended regimen is to apply the mixture two to three times a day and then once before going to bed. If raw milk is not available, glycerin is a good substitute.

When applied topically, it is an effective treatment for preventing bleeding lips from becoming infected, acne, mouth ulcers, angular cheilitis, yeast infections, athlete’s foot, scabies, lice, skin cuts, insect bites & stings, burns and blisters. With so many uses, it is no wonder tea tree oil is referred as a “medicine cabinet in a bottle.”

8 . Milk Cream

Milk cream is an excellent skin softener, and it has the ability to hasten the elimination of dead skin. Leave cream milk drops on the lips for ten minutes. Afterwards, rub the remaining traces of milk cream from the lips with cotton dipped in lukewarm water. That will hasten healing.
